True love's kiss @AdamWilcock

A small and intimate gathering that made the most of the summer sunshine, Tanya and Ian’s wedding couldn’t be more joyful, and neither could this adorable couple. They first stayed at the venue, The Fuzzy Duck in Armscote, when they first got together, and straight from the start Tanya knew Ian was a keeper. Indeed, the warm and personal feel of the place seems to mirror the relationship – caring and loving from the start. Ian also whisked Tanya away on a romantic weekend in Palma early on, and this is where he proposed to her on their return four years later on the balcony of their hotel, amidst chocolates, strawberries and prosecco!

Exchanging rings in the glorious sunshine @AdamWilcock

“My experience at Alice Rose was just amazing! We’d been for an appointment at another bridal shop but didn’t get excited about any of the dresses, so we were a bit deflated, but Donna made such a fuss over us that we instantly felt welcome. I came with my Mum, Mother-in-Law, my daughter Ava and Ian’s twins, and there was lemonade for the girls and they even got to try on some dresses! Nothing was too much trouble, and then came the gorgeous dresses!”

“I wanted something lacy and elegant and each dress I tried on was lovely but not the one. Donna went downstairs and brought up one that I hadn’t even noticed on the hanger. I tried it on and absolutely fell in love with it – and it fit perfectly! Donna then revealed that she knew when I walked through the door that Asteria by Dando London would be my dress!”

Cosy, heart-warming vibes @AdamWilcock

“I loved the back of my Dando London gown so much – it had illusion lace and buttons all the way from the neck to the bottom. The lace came off the shoulders and the dress was so fitted and had side cut outs, making it feel risqué but only ever so slightly! It was elegant and cheeky – some would say like me! It fit with our venue perfectly: the lace gave it an old-worldy feel whereas the cheeky elements made it feel more contemporary, just like the mix of the venue itself.”

“Trust your bridal shop – they know what they’re doing and they want to help, so let them. Don’t be scared to ask for their advice – that’s what they’re there for. You don’t need to know what you want, so don’t panic! When it comes to the wedding itself, go with your heart and do what you want to do, rather than trying to please everyone else – it’s about you at the end of the day!”
