Keshma and Jatin, the picture of love @GeorgeKroustiPhotography

Keshma was always adamant that she would find the right person at the right time. However, she was getting ready to give up until she went for a coffee with Jatin and, as she puts it, the rest is history! Having spent time geographically apart and then struggling to get a chance to meet through lockdown, this gorgeous couple prove that love is worth the wait. Jatin proposed at Duffield Castle under the ruse of going out for some nachos and ended up proposing in the car! Keshma fondly declares it was so unexpected and magical, plus they got nachos afterwards!

“I travelled all over the country to try and find my dress but just wasn’t feeling any of them. Alice Rose was one of the last places I visited and Donna was just so lovely and welcoming – you could see the excitement in her face. I tried on different styles and then I was drawn to my dress thanks to its sheer elegance and simplicity. I knew when I chose it I’d need it to be altered to make sure I was more covered and Galina did a wonderful job to fit it to the style I wanted.”

“My dress was a simple A-line with such beautiful frontal embroidery – it truly is the most beautiful dress I’ve ever worn. I usually wear Indian dresses on special occasions, which made this even more special. It makes me emotional just thinking about it but it’s a lovely memory.”

“We got married at Hollywood House in Belper which is completely Hollywood themed. Each room is dedicated to a specific actor. Our room was the Marilyn Monroe suite and do you know what, I really felt like Marilyn Monroe thanks to my outfit. It made me feel so beautiful in the moment and I will always cherish it.”

“My advice is to enjoy the journey, from the venue deciding onwards, as the moment will never return. Embrace saying your vows too – it meant so much to me.”
